Opportunities
There are more than ten current opportunities on the website, including sports, art, business and the environment. In the last month we have seen opportunities from health boards, the Wales Jewish cultural centre and housing associations. Please let me knowif you have a Board vacancy or similar you’d like me to add!
Blog post
My most recent blog post was to highlight social media as growing in importance to governance, with X in particular showing how entangled issues of ownership and accountability can become. I make the argument that a values-based approach, particularly for public bodies in Wales that are obliged to work within the Future Generations Act, should be essential for Board members when considering how social media platforms themselves have a bearing on delivery of messages and services.

Events
Last month I highlighted that on 30 January, Audit Wales is holding an event on the challenge for public services in Wales, to be held in Cardiff. They have since highlighted one for north Wales on 13 Feb in Llanelwy. Use this link to register for either event.
Welsh language
Last month I said that the website would be translated when I had the time. I’m delighted to say that it should now be fully bilingual. Let me know if there are bits I’ve missed or got wrong!
